On January 10th, 2024, in Las Vegas, ‘M3 Global’, a local investor, finalized an MOU with Changwon-based medical bio companies ‘Miraclaire’ ‘AI Biotics’ and ‘Oceans Bio’ at the KOTRA Integrated Korea Pavilion. The agreement aims to support attracting overseas investment.
Oceansbio, founded by CEO Hyunung LEE in 2018, is a company developing vagus nerve stimulation (VNS). It completed the development of non-invasive transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (TaVNS), which alleviates stress and treats depression by modulating the parasympathetic nervous system, which is the major component of autonomic nervous system.
Holding 11 registered patents, It is tirelessly building its capabilities and filing 42 patents and 3 PCT international applications, which resulted in receiving SMEs & Startups Minister’s award in 2019 and being selected as TIPS Startup in 2021.
